What working at WOHO involves.

We run the infrastructure, licences and websites that Mauritian organisations depend on. It is a small operation, so whoever works here is on client systems from the first week.

The work

Cloud, licensing, and web work

Almost everything that comes in is one of these three, and most weeks touch more than one.

  • Cloud and infrastructure

    Provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup and recovery on AWS, Google Cloud and Hetzner. Most of the work happens after the server exists: keeping it current, watching it, and restoring it when something fails.

  • Licensing and compliance

    Adobe, Microsoft and Bitdefender agreements across commercial, education and government terms. It is detail work against real renewal dates, for clients whose paperwork has to be right.

  • Web and digital

    WordPress and custom builds, performance and security work, and the AI automation that is starting to sit alongside it. We host what we build, so nothing gets handed over and forgotten.

What to expect

Mauritius, working remotely

The clients are Mauritian businesses and institutions. The work itself runs from wherever there is a decent connection.

You talk to clients

There is no layer between the person doing the work and the person who needs it done. That suits some people and not others.

You own what you touch

Whoever builds something is who supports it, so nothing is handed over to someone who has never seen it.

When something opens it will be listed here first. Until then, a speculative note is genuinely worth sending: the work arrives in waves, and knowing who is around matters more than a vacancy being live on the day you look.
